The New WISC offers a range of options for Waldorf Teacher Development and renewal, designed to fit the needs of today's aspiring and practicing teachers.
FULL PROGRAM (2.5 years)
Registration for the new cohort of our Waldorf Certificate program will open in January, and the first semester begins in July 2025. We encourage you to take advantage of our winter spring semester regardless of enrollment in the full program (credits will transfer).
WINTER SPRING SEMESTER 2025
Winter Spring Semester, January 2025-May 2025 offers a range of online courses and in-person weekend intensives in early childhood and grades designed for prospective and existing WISC students, teachers new to Waldorf seeking professional development, and teachers seeking enrichment.
Monthly online Waldorf Essentials classes with expert instructors offer practical support for teachers.
Early Childhood weekend intensives at both Los Angeles and San Diego locations are open to to all involved in working with young children.
Grades teacher weekend intensives on key topics are open to all working with the Waldorf curriculum.
Each Saturday intensive is preceded by a 2-hour evening online webinar on Friday evening to set the theme for the workshop
Mentoring Mondays are bi-monthly online sessions with expert instructors for participants in any of our program offerings.
Highlights of the semester are two special day-long conferences, both appropriate for all levels, EC and grades.

Grades 1-8
Join our Spring enrichment courses for current and aspiring grades teachers starting in January 2025. Credit hours from these courses can be applied towards obtaining your AWSNA recognized Waldorf Certificate with enrollment in the full Certificate Program starting in July 2025.
Early Childhood
Practical Arts Training
Join our Spring enrichment courses for current and aspiring early childhood teachers starting in January 2025. Credit hours from these courses can be applied towards obtaining your WECAN recognized Waldorf Certificate with enrollment in the full Certificate Program starting in July 2025.
The full Practical Arts Certification course consists of nine individual six-day long intensives (modules) spread out over three years. The participants learn and practice fiber arts and wood-metalworking techniques, and also gain an understanding of why and how these activities are introduced to children, as well as anthroposophical principles. One can enroll at any point during the three years. The next module will take place in February 2025
